HangTime, an essential part of the JCC Maccabi experience, is an engaging Jewish space where participants can enjoy informal activities, connect with fellow athletes, and learn about Israel and other aspects of Jewish life and history. It is staffed by Israeli counselors (shlichim or emissaries) from the Maccabi movement and Israel and volunteers from the host community. At Hangtime athletes can participate in fun activities like Israeli cooking classes, video games, card games, trivia games focused on Israeli people and places, craft projects, Israeli dancing, and so much more.
